Author Biography
Matt T. Bianchi, MD, PhD, is double board-certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine. As a faculty member of Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital, he became the Chief of Sleep Medicine while building a research program spanning sleep technology, big data analytics, and cost-effectiveness modeling. His twenty-five-year academic story began studying Neuroscience at Brandeis University, followed by MD and PhD degrees from the University of Michigan. After completing Neurology Residency at the combined program of Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, he remained in Boston for a specialty fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He has authored over one hundred medical publications, and lectures regularly on clinical and research aspects of sleep medicine.
