Author Biography
Miguel Felipe Dorta Vargas (Venezuela, 1979) es licenciado en Historia por la Universidad Central de Venezuela (2008), maestro en Historia Moderna y Contemporánea por el Instituto de Investigaciones Dr. José María Luis Mora (México, 2014) y, actualmente, cursante del Doctorado en Historia Moderna y Contemporánea en la misma institución. Ha trabajado como docente en la ucv y en otras universidades nacionales y estuvo vinculado a proyectos de investigación sobre el pasado social y cultural venezolano. Ha asistido a congresos nacionales e internacionales y ha publicado en revistas especializadas. Entre sus publicaciones, destaca como coautor en el libro El relato invariable. Independencia, mito y nación (2011), coordinado por Inés Quintero y publicado por esta casa editorial.
