Governments began training and recruiting their own elite groups of hunters, and implementing tactics into police training to deal with criminals with ties to supernatural threats. Eighteen years after the event that reminded humanity why they feared the dark, Detective Mick Johnson, a survivor of the Broken Edge Massacre, has his eyes on a vigilante group who wield strange powers, hunting monsters without the proper credentials and operating outside of the law.
