This collection of three books including the activity book (Book 1: Rhythm, Book 2: Notes, Book 3: Measure) are based on learning and development, of the music skills for young children. It is a new method inspired by the Kodaly, Solfege, Music alphabet and Montessori systems. It is intended for preschoolers ages 3 and up. Children can choose from attractive images throughout the books and practice the basics of music theory. Kids can grab the books whenever they want and start identifying and visualizing the music symbols, rhythm patterns, and practice how to read the notes on the staff, with the help of members from the musical family. By the end of the third book, kids will be ready to begin learning any musical instrument, without being so overwhelmed by the complexity of music theory. Musical Notes are sounds with different pitches. Notes can be high or low. They also go up, down or repeat. We will use the Kodaly technique that makes use of different hand gestures to indicate the height of each musical note and thus begin to train our musical ear.

With the names of the musical family, we will learn to memorize the notes and, in this way, to read the music or "solfeggio".
This musical family is made up of: Dony, the father, Rexi, the mother, Mimi, the granny, Fafi, the grandfather, Solti, the little brother, Lala, the aunt, Sisi, the little sister and Dodi, the baby brother.
We will only use the first syllable of each name and in this fun way we will learn the name of the notes: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si, Do.
The interval is the distance between two notes. They are like "jumps". To know the name of the interval we will count how many notes there are in that jump.
