Author Biography
Dr. Mandy Lender was born in Israel and graduated from the Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem with M.D. degree 1970. During military service he participated in landmark archeological excavations in the Judean Desert. On October 10, 1973 he was injured in combat by enemy fire on the Golan Heights.
Dr. Lender trained at the Veterans Affairs hospital, Hines Illinois as a fellow in Endocrinology and Diabetes. He earned an M.B.A degree from the Dominican University. Dr. Lender is board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology & Diabetes. He was on faculty of Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, and the Chicago Medical School as associate professor of medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians; life member of the N. Y. Academy of Sciences; member of the American Endocrine Society, American Diabetes Association, AMA and Toastmasters International. Dr. Lender was in the service of U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for 28 years, as a physician and executive.
In 2003, Mandy Lender was diagnosed with cancer and successfully cured. His sister Minna was diagnosed in 2004 with breast cancer and was successfully cured. His wife Pirhia, passed away in 2005 from colon cancer.
From 2005 Mandy Lender is involved in writing, Mind-body Medicine research and works as volunteer physician providing free health care. His book, "The Vision of HabakkuK. The Law of Attraction in the Holy Bible", was released in 2010. His upcoming book is: "Karkinos Farm".
