Author Biography
Eva Jarlsdotter is an author, advisor, and public speaker. She is the pioneer behind the concept lean@home and has worked as an advisor for many of Sweden's largest organizations and companies, such as IKEA and Investor, and is currently working with the Swedish International Development Cooperation agency (Sida), a governmental agency working on behalf of the Swedish government to reduce poverty in the world and combat the climate crisis. She worked in journalism for almost a decade before taking up leadership roles in Corporate Social Responsibility and Communications at global companies in life sciences and telecom. She holds a degree in Journalism and an executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics. She lives in Stockholm with her husband and three children (and two cats) in an old house with a little apple orchard. A couple of years ago she presented a TEDx talk, "Follow the thread and become the generation that stops the climate crisis". She dreams that, together, we can begin to meet the challenges that we all face with creativity and kindness instead of constant competition.
