William H. Willimon, MDiv, is bishop of the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church. For twenty years he served as dean of the chapel and professor of Christian ministry at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina. He has served congregations in Georgia and South Carolina, and is the author of more than 50 books.
