He takes seriously her counsel that the "Bible, and the Bible only," should be "the rule of faith and duty;" and that "every position we take should be critically examined and tested by the Scriptures." He has greatly benefited by following her counsels on health principles, particularly on diet and exercise. He enjoys trekking through the mountains, as well as travelling overseas. He is married with four adult children.
