Many of these changes were welcome and some not, as times shaped and honed the individual's spirit that made it possible to survive. This book is a collection of stories lived and told by people linked together by a proud and colorful heritage, which bound them together and created a brotherhood often referred to as Southern hospitality. These stories share the goodness of men and their ability to succeed when things looked impossible.
