Arantza Portabales (San Sebastián, 1973) es licenciada en Derecho por la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela. Se inició como escritora en 2013 a través de la microficción. Tras participar en libros colectivos como 40 plumas y pico, Las palabras contadas, Lecturas d'Espagne, Purorrelato de Casa África, Escribo 3, Microvuelos y Cincuentos, en 2015 publicó su primer libro de microrrelatos, A Celeste la compré en un rastrillo, así como su primera novela en lengua gallega, Sobrevivindo, ganadora del XV Premio de Novela por Entregas de La Voz de Galicia. En 2017 su relato «Circular C1: Cuatro Caminos-Embajadores» obtuvo el Premio de Narración Breve de la UNED y su microrrelato «Las musas» resultó ganador del concurso de la Microbiblioteca de Barberà del Vallès.
