Holder has also worked at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence and Darlington, South Carolina, in the behavioral health unit, and he provides national and international consultations and training sessions. His research with Francis Marion University focuses on treatment and related issues.
Holder's expertise is in Neurolinguistic Programming, Gestalt Therapy, and Adlerian Psychology. His awards include the South Carolina Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors Counselor of the Year Award, the Arliss Epps Social Interest Award, and the National Counselor of the Year Award. In addition, Holder serves his profession by working with several licensing and certification organizations.
