She has practised internationally as both an industrial and freelance designer, and lectured in knitted textile and knitwear design. In addition to this she holds a doctorate for her practice-based research into knitwear shaping and sizing, and is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Framework Knitters. Vikki's knowledge of machine knitting is supported by a fundamental understanding of knit structures and complemented by a pro-active commitment to sharing knowledge and lifelong learning. With her remarkable experience and interest in machine knitting technology, coupled with her design experience, she is a recognised authority on the subject of machine knit design.
