She is also a culinary advisor for companies like Google, where she is currently developing new, plant-forward food programs. She is the author of Plum: Gratifying Vegan Dishes from Seattle's Plum Bistro and host of the monthly TV show Makini's Kitchen on King 5 News in Seattle.
