His accounts of his boat travels and articles on boatbuilding have been published in Sea Kayaker, WoodenBoat, Nor'westing and Small Boat Journal as well as two anthologies: Oyo and Seekers of the Horizon. He is the author of Building the Greenland Kayak: A Manual for Its Construction and Use.
