Daniel Ferreira Nació en Colombia en 1981. Es autor de las novelas La balada de los bandoleros baladíes (2010), Viaje al interior de una gota de sangre (2011), Rebelión de los oficios inútiles (2014), El año del sol negro (2018) y Recuerdos del río volador (2022). Todas pertenecen a la serie Pentalogía de Colombia y han sido publicadas en Alfaguara. En 2017 hizo parte de la selección Bogotá 39 promovida por el Hay Festival, que reúne a los 39 mejores autores menores de 39 años de toda Latinoamérica. Sus novelas han recibido.
el Premio Latinoamericano de Primera Novela Sergio Galindo (México, 2010), el Premio Latinoamericano de Novela Alba Narrativa (Cuba, 2011) y el Premio Clarín de Novela (Argentina, 2014).
