There's enough pain, suffering and stress to go around. Jesus said that while we are in this world we shall have tribulation, not may have. Though this is not very encouraging, it is necessary that we know what we're up against. The Lord is not trying to discourage us in our journey but prepare us for the road ahead. Because of His great love for us, He desires to impart everything necessary to have a joy filled life in Him.
This being the foundation of the warning sign of coming tribulation, we can now move to the next sign that reads, Lighten up Well not really, it actually reads, be of good cheer I have overcome the world. If that promise doesn't ooze, "I got this," then nothing does. Jesus is so amazing and limitless. He tells us trouble is imminent and in the same breath proclaims we will not be overtaken as long as we look to Him.
