Author Biography
Francisco Pulido Nace en Ciudad Victoria Tamaulipas en el año 1966. En 1988 empieza a entrenar con Evaristo Ríos Gracia y María del Rosario Zuñiga Vargas quienes le dan una visión de superación personal por medio del deporte y lo apoyan hasta calificarlo al nacional de primera categoría, siendo selectivo para Juegos Olímpicos de Seúl en 1988. Al mismo tiempo completa la carrera de Técnico Superior en Organización Deportiva, en la Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas. Entrena por casi 10 años con Rodolfo Gómez cuando este era el entrenador nacional de atletismo de medio fondo y fondo en el Comité Olímpico Mexicano logrando correr su mejor marca de medio maratón en 1h06 minutos. Se retira del atletismo competitivo por lesiones en 1998. Estudia la licenciatura en entrenamiento deportivo en la Escuela Nacional de Entrenadores Deportivos con especialidad en atletismo, en la capital mexicana, año 1993. Actualmente reside en Dallas Texas USA y trabaja como asistente de coach en Casa View Elementary School. Está certificado por la USA Track & Field. Tiene su equipo internacional de atletismo llamado "Universal Running Team" y debe su nombre a que esta formado por atletas de varias partes del mundo. Además de entrenador tiene sus pasatiempos favoritos como escritor de poesía, arte fino fotográfico y ha publicado sus libros.
