Author Biography
Kristin Van Aken lives in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont with her husband Michael and two black labs, Carmen and Raisin. She has two grown sons, Jonas and Elan. She has been the Postmaster of Passumpsic, Vermont since 1994 and did, in fact, have three pigs living under her office. Matthew Gauvin was born in Vermont and spent five years in Boston studying at Massachusetts College of Art and Design where he graduated with a BFA in Illustration. He has since illustrated 12 books and now lives in East Burke, Vermont with his wife Barb and their beagle, Biscuit.
