Beatriz Caiuby Labate, PhD, is professor at the Center for Research and Post Graduate Studies in Social Anthropology (CIESAS), in Guadalajara, Mexico, and visiting professor at the Drug Policy Program of the Center for Economic Research and Education (CIDE), in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
