The book is a 90-day diary written in the winter and spring of 2021, recounting the care of cancer patients during the pandemic and the fledging initiation of STEM to the Skies. Each entry contains a Bible verse, a statement of gratitude, a prayer, a goal, and a record of what the author did each day during the pandemic. The book offers hope and optimism during a time of crisis.
Autobiography: I am a retired medical oncologist and former medical school professor. For 36 years, I conducted clinical research in breast cancer, published hundreds of medical journal articles, edited two medical books, and wrote 38 book chapters about breast cancer. I also served as the National Vice President for Research for the American Cancer Society. I have been flying for 45 years and hold flight instructor and instrument instructor certificates.
