In this book, you will find fifteen renderings of what Trigg considers loosely "Old Masters" paintings and turned them into "Old Moosters," using some of the colors, strokes, accentuated lines, etc., to replicate the original feel of the artwork, using only crayons. But colored pencils or pastels may be used instead.
The book contains her version colored in, as well as two "blank" copies for you to use. Her hope is that this will prove helpful to students of art, as well as entertainment for art lovers of all ages. Just have fun! Can also instill the love of art history in young students.
Author Biography
Julie Trigg studied art and printmaking at the Art Students League, Parsons School of Design, and The New School in New York. She has won many awards and her work is in many corporate and private collections. She currently shows her work at her studio gallery in Sarasota, Florida. Trigg loves painting cows and is known by some in the art circle as the "cow painter."
