Born in New Zealand, Neil lived in Canada for 30 years where he worked as a newspaper reporter before launching an international business management and strategic planning consultancy. He moved to Europe in 2003. His university studies have included archaeology, architecture and languages at City University, London, England; economics, political science and philosophy at the University of Western Ontario, Canada; and zoology, geology and chemistry at Victoria University Wellington, New Zealand. He has a Doctor of Divinity degree with The Emerson Theological Institute, California and is an accredited practitioner and counsellor with Centres for Spiritual Living, Denver, Colorado.
