En este libro se recogen la lidia de unas 500 reses de esta ganader a en casi 100 festejos, desde que se presentaron por primera vez en el ruedo de Bilbao, en 1865.
Author Biography
Antonio Fernández Casado, empresario y escritor especializado en tauromaquia y hotelería, que ha colaborado periodísticamente con numerosos medios de comunicación como especialista en temas taurinos (El País, Diario 16, Agencia Efe, 6 Toros 6, Periódico Bilbao, Taurología, El Boletín, revistas del Club Cocherito...), es autor de los libros de éxito, como: "Toreros de Hierro" (Diccionario de toreros vizcaínos); "Castor Jaureguibeitia Ibarra, Cocherito de Bilbao"; la "Guía histórica de fondas, posadas, hoteles, restaurantes, tabernas y txakolís de Bilbao" y "Diccionario Taurino Guipuzcoano" (de la plaza de toros de Arrasate al torero pintor Zuloaga). Con posterioridad ha publicado otros dos nuevos trabajos: "Bizkaia Taurina (Plazas de toros vizcaínas)" y "Zacarías Lecumberri. El estoqueador aventurero". Su último trabajo publicado se refiere al área empresarial: "Manual práctico de dirección de hoteles, marketing y ventas online del siglo XXI". El pasado mes de mayo de 2015, presentó en Madrid un nuevo libro taurino de gran éxito: "Garapullos por Máuseres" (La Fiesta de toros en la Guerra Civil, 1936-1939), a través de la Editorial La Cátedra Taurina. En los pasado años noventa, junto a Ángel Ortiz Alfau, fundó la editorial, Ediciones El Tilo .En la actualidad, promueve la Editorial La Cátedra Taurina con el objeto de recuperar obras literarias antiguas ya olvidadas. Además, en 1986 fue miembro del primer Consejo Vasco de Turismo (Eusko Turismo); y, en junio de 2009, consejero de la Agencia Vasca de Turismo (Basquetour), ambas, sociedades públicas del Gobierno Vasco. Desde hace tres años, tambien es presidente del Club Cocherito de Bilbao.
