Realizó estudios de postgrado en Ingeniería de Sistemas de producción en el Centro de Graduados de la ESIME del Instituto Politécnico Nacional; Así como también Maestría y Doctorado en Pedagogía en la Escuela Normal Superior de Tepic. Habiendo presentado las siguientes tesis: Sistemas de control de producción en empresas transnacionales a nivel Licenciatura y El sistema educativo del Estado de Nayarit a nivel Maestría. En su experiencia profesional: Ha laborado en Worthington de México; en Industrias Xerográficas; y como Gerente de producción en Compañía Industrial de Plásticos. En su experiencia docente: Se ha desempeñado como Maestro en el Instituto Tecnológico de Tepic; En la Escuela Normal Superior de Tepic; En el Ciidet; y actualmente en el Instituto Tecnológico de Saltillo. En la administración educativa; ha sido: Presidente de la academia y Auditor interno de calidad educative en el IT. de Saltillo; Jefe de la División de Extensión en el IT. de Tepic y Subdirector en los Institutos Tecnológicos de Villahermosa, Tab. y de Tehuacan, Pué..
