Author Biography
No solo él es el autor y el ilustrador de este libro para niños/as, James Nathaniel Holland principalmente es un compositor Americano de música clasica que incluyen obras de operas, sinfonías, balletes, canciones, y otras. Su música tiene una mezcla de estilos de música romantica, clasica, del mondo y jazz. Hay otras obras para niños de él; por ejemplo "La Canción de Haíti" para coro infatil y el ballet, "El Viento en los Sauces" adaptado de la novela con el mismo nombre. El escribió la música para las canciones de la novela y son disponibles (en inglés) en un librito para voz y piano del nivel fácil. Originalmente de Indiana, EEUU, Sr. Holland he tenido una vida eclectica y muy aventurera. Él estudió música y voz de opera en Viena, Austria y también vivió y hizo presentaciones de su música en Los Ángeles y Nueva York. También, para con un tiempo corto, él trabajó en el Cuerpo de la Paz EEUU en el país de Haíti. Él fue a Costa Rica permanentemente en el año 2005, donde él vive en un castillo que se llama, "La Corona de los Santos," con el "Roy" real. El castillo está ubicado en un pueblo de las montañas, Santa Cruz de León Cortés, donde uno puede visitarlo y darle un saludo amistoso. Otros libros sobre Costa Rica él ha escrito incluyen "El Libro de Recetas Costarricense del La Corona," "Leyendas del Castillo La Corona de los Santos y el Valle de Los Santos," y "Como lo Hice! Un ecuerdo de mi Viaje Para Vivir en Costa Rica." Por el momento todos estos libros están en inglés, pero pronto va ser disponibles en español también.
