Por eso, cuando hay notables diferencias entre la norma anterior y la del C digo vigente, se han puesto en el lugar adecuado, notas de actualizaci n.Sobre los autores: Hernando Grisanti Aveledo, es Abogado Summa Cum Laude y Doctor en Derecho por la Universidad de Carabobo, con Posgrado en Derecho Penal, Criminolog a y Derecho Romano, con dos Matr culas de Honor, en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Profesor Titular em rito de la Universidad de Carabobo. Profesor Titular de la Universidad Cat lica Andr s Bello, por concurso de credenciales, en las asignaturas Derecho Penal (desde 1985 a 1993), siendo designado Jefe de la C tedra de Derecho Penal II; y Derecho Romano (desde 1988 a 1992). Profesor de Posgrado de Derecho Penal en la UCAB (1997 a 2000). Profesor de Doctorado en la Facultad de Ciencias Econ micas y Sociales de la Universidad de Carabobo (2015). Tres promociones de abogados llevan su nombre: Universidad de Carabobo (1984-85, 2011-2012), Universidad Cat lica "Andr s Bello" (1989-90). Has escrito varias obras jur dicas, entre las cuales destacan: Lecciones de Derecho Penal (Parte General), 27 ediciones; Leg tima Defensa y Estado de Necesidad; La Extradici n; y varios trabajos sobre el dolo eventual y su apreciaci n por los tribunales. Andr s Grisanti Franceschi, fallecido en el a o 1983, abogado egresado de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, fue Profesor de Derecho Penal en la Universidad de Carabobo y Juez Penal (de Instrucci n, de Primera Instancia y Juez Superior) por m s de 30 a os.
