Author Biography
J. Rene Munz nació en Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, el 31 de enero de 1974. Es el mayor de 5 hijos. Desde muy pequeño le ha apasionado dibujar y las artes visuales. En la adolescencia empezó a incursionar en el arte callejero o grafiti y a coleccionar tirillas cómicas de diferentes editoriales americanas y mexicanas. En una ocasión, el director de su escuela le ofreció la oportunidad de pintar un mural en la cancha, siendo este su primer trabajo de exposición. En 1992 comenzó estudios universitarios. Se mantenía haciendo afiches e ilustraciones para otros estudiantes y de esa manera podía pagar sus gastos. Formó parte de la asociación de teatro de la universidad. Se graduó con honores. Luego comenzaría trabajar en la Policía de Puerto Rico. Más adelante se uniría a las fuerzas armadas de los Estados Unidos y en el 2010 culminaría su servicio militar. El proceso de escritura de este libro comenzó en el 2007 a partir de diferentes notas sobre su experiencia personal, profesional y creencias esotéricas. En este momento aún trabaja para la Policía de Puerto Rico y continúa ejerciendo la escritura.
