Jordi Soler nació en 1963 en La Portuguesa, Veracruz, México. Es autor de dos libros de poesía y trece novelas, traducidas a varias lenguas. Vive en Barcelona, la ciudad que abandonó su familia después de la Guerra Civil y es caballero de la irlandesa Orden del Finnegans.
