Author Biography
Nuvia Inés Estévez Machado (Cuba, 1971). Poeta y narradora. Licenciada en Español-Literatura. En el 2001 obtuvo el Premio David de la UNEAC con su poemario Maniquí desnudo entre escombros, el cual fue reeditado en México por la Editorial Verdehalago. Ha publicado, además, Arrepentida de llamarme Circe, Claveles para Rachel, Penancolía, Últimas piedras contra María Magdalena y Misterio de Clepsidras. Su obra poética ha sido recogida en numerosas antologías en Cuba, México, Estados Unidos, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, España y otros. También ha ofrecido conferencias en México y Colombia, y recitales de poesía en diferentes eventos internacionales. Actualmente reside en el Sur de la Florida.
