Ángeles Caso (Gijón, 1959) es escritora, historiadora del arte y comunicadora. Ha publicado diversos ensayos convertidos ya en clásicos de la historiografía de género, como Las olvidadas (2005), Ellas mismas. Autorretratos de pintoras (2016), Grandes maestras. Mujeres en el arte occidental (2017), el libro infantil Pintoras (2018) y Quiero escribirte esta noche una carta de amor (Lumen, 2019). Es autora de novelas de gran éxito y ha recibido galardones como el Premio Planeta 2009 y el Premio a la Mejor Novela Traducida en China 2010 por Contra el viento, y el Premio Fernando Lara 2000 por Un largo silencio. Es también traductora, articulista y guionista. Su obra está traducida a quince idiomas.
