Author Biography
Tomás Straka (Venezuela, 1972) es investigador del Instituto de Investigaciones Históricas Hermann González Oropeza, S. J., de la Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. Director de las maestrías en Historia en la misma casa de estudios. Es columnista en varias publicaciones periódicas y páginas web, entre las que destacan: El Nacional, Debates IESA, Prodavinci.com. Es autor, entre otras publicaciones, de La voz de los vencidos. Ideas del partido realista de Caracas (1810-1821) (2000); Hechos y gente. Historia contemporánea de Venezuela (2001); Un reino para este mundo. Catolicismo y republicanismo en Venezuela (2006); La épica del desencanto. Bolivarianismo, historiografía y política en Venezuela (2009).
