En el Cap tulo IV es desarrollado el concepto de entrenamiento metab lico, se presentan las v as de producci n energ ticas del organismo y c mo desarrollarlas para favorecer el desempe o f sico. A continuaci n, en el Cap tulo V se describe la metodolog a del entrenamiento estructural, cubriendo las consideraciones a tener en cuenta para poder desarrollar la fuerza-potencia en los boxeadores. En el siguiente Cap tulo se exponen los 5 mbitos para el desarrollo de la agilidad, en qu momento y bajo qu tipo de ejercicios se estimula esta cualidad, seg n las etapas de la preparaci n. En el Cap tulo VII se integran los 3 tipos de entrenamiento en un solo plan, de acuerdo al modelo de planificaci n ATR y a las caracter sticas y necesidades f sicas del boxeo. En el Cap tulo VIII y como material accesorio se presenta una forma de vendar las manos en el boxeo profesional. Luego, en el Cap tulo IX, son expuestas algunas consideraciones sobre el trabajo del "cutman" y en el ltimo Cap tulo se presentan algunas investigaciones que reflejan la composici n corporal de los boxeadores, adem s de llevarse a cabo una breve revisi n de las diversas estrategias que se utilizan para dar la categor a en el pesaje oficial.
