Carmen Mola es el seudónimo con el que tres autores --Antonio Mercero, Agustín Martínez y Jorge Díaz-- decidieron firmar su primera novela escrita a seis manos, sin darse a conocer públicamente, La novia gitana (Alfaguara Negra, 2018), que inauguró la serie protagonizada por la inspectora Elena Blanco, convertida en un fenómeno de ventas y de crítica y por la que Carmen Mola fue llamada «la Elena Ferrante española» (El País).
