Author Biography
Jesús Ávila Granados Nacido en Granada en 1950 y residente en Cataluña, está considerado como uno de los grandes expertos del Temple. Interesado desde siempre por los aspectos más esotéricos de la historia, ha seguido las huellas de los templarios en Tierra Santa, Anatolia, Francia, Italia y la Península Ibérica. Es conferenciante de temas medievales y de la antigüedad, coordinador y director científico de eventos culturales relacionados con el esoterismo y colaborador habitual de Historia de Iberia Vieja, Año/Cero, Más Allá, Enigmas, Fomento, etc. Licenciado en Ciencias de la Información por la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, fue condecorado en dos ocasiones por el Consejo de Europa con el premio Europa Humana; así como el Tutav, otorgado por el Ministerio de Cultura de Turquía, y la Medalla al Mérito Agrícola, por el Ministerio de Agricultura de Francia. Como escritor, es autor de cerca de un centenar de libros, como Enclaves mágicos de España, A través de la España oculta, El último hereje, Templarios en las tierras del Ebro, Matarraña insólito, La España inédita o La sombra del cardenal.
