Fue profesora de Literatura Argentina en la Facultad de Filosof a y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires desde la reapertura democr tica hasta 2003. Dict cursos en universidades de Columbia, Berkeley, Maryland y Minnesota, fue fellow del Wilson Center en Washington y Sim n Bol var Professor of Latin American Studies en la Universidad de Cambridge.
