Gabriela Margall nació en la ciudad de Rafael Castillo, en la provincia de Buenos Aires. Se graduó en Historia en la facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, en la ejerció como docente hasta 2013. También ha estudiado dramaturgia e Historia del Arte.
