Mar García Puig (Barcelona, 1977) es licenciada en Filología Inglesa y tiene un máster en Lingüística. Editora de profesión, ha publicado artículos en medios como La Vanguardia, El Periódico, El Diario, Público o CTXT. Ha colaborado en los libros LGTBI (Sembra Llibres, 2020), Neorrancios. Sobre los peligros de la nostalgia (Península, 2022) y Más que visibles (Egales, 2022). Desde 2015 es diputada en el Congreso de los Diputados, donde ejerce como portavoz en la Comisión de Cultura. Vive entre Madrid y Barcelona. La historia de los vertebrados es su primer libro.
