Author Biography
(Burgos, 17 de mayo 1975) Soy periodista frustrada, estudié derecho, por defecto y a pesar de todo, me gustó. Fui durante más de ocho años Juez Sustituta, lo que me hizo ver la realidad de la justicia y su falta de humanidad, así llegué en el 2004 a la Justicia Restaurativa. Actualmente soy la coordinadora del Servicio de Mediación Penal de Castilla y León (Burgos) y presidenta del Instituto de Justicia Restaurativa-Amepax ( la entidad que proporciona este servicio). Soy experta y consultora internacional en Justicia Restaurativa. Mediadora Penal y Presidenta de la Sociedad Cientifica de Justicia Restaurativa. Miembro del Comité de investigación del Foro Europeo de Justicia Restaurativa, participo regularmente en las reuniones de este Foro y he ofrecido varias charlas a nivel internacional, asimismo he realizado diversos trabajos de investigación sobre Justicia Restaurativa y mediación en materia penal. Y sigo luchando porque se regule la Justicia Restaurativa como un derecho más para las victimas de cualquier delito con independencia del lugar donde lo sufran.
