He received PhD and MA degrees from McGill University, MA from the University of London, and MA from Karachi University. His leanings toward philosophy and mysticism result in studies that integrate critical pedagogy methods in the field of religion and social justice issues in education. As a writer and artist, he expresses his ideas through fiction, poetry, and visual art.
