What is surprising is the extent to which he transcended his condition and his situation-for Lartigue is not only a prisoner but also a lay theologian. He thought his way into something like process theology before he encountered anyone who teaches it. He wants to explain process theology in understandable ways, and he details his more and less successful efforts to do that (including an early attempt with Manson murderer Charles "Tex" Watson). But it is Lartigue's story as a whole that teaches as much theology as do his explicit presentations.

DAMIEN LARTIGUE inspired to be a drug- and alcohol abuse counselor and relationship therapist, is a graduate Kent State University in Ohio, and currently resides in Jamestown, California. He has written a few papers on Relational theology, is working on a novel, and facilitates a local Celebrate Recovery small-group ministry and recovery program. ERIC W. SENN served proudly in the U.S. Navy (AE-FC), worked as an IT Networking Systems Analyst at NASA Ames Research Center, and lives in Discovery Bay, California with his golden retriever and a schipperke. He has two adult sons, Rick and Andrew, and has self-published several science fiction novels, two murder-mysteries, and some motivational books, including the "No More Locked Doors" series based on Sydney Banks' work in Health Realization.
