A note from the author: After experiencing postpartum depression (PPD) with my first daughter, I resolved to do things differently the second time around. I completed the helpful weekly planning exercises and mindful daily prompts contained in this postpartum journal (on scrap computer paper) for 3 months after my second daughter's birth. It made all the difference (for the better) in how I experienced the postpartum period and how my daughters experienced me as their mom. As such, I felt a calling to share the supportive approach with others who may benefit too.
