Her writing has appeared in Teen Vogue, Vice, Broadly, Slutist, Fusion, Dirge Magazine, and Dear Darkling, and her first book, Revolutionary Witchcraft: A Guide to Magical Activism, was published in 2019 by Running Press. In addition to writing and practicing witchcraft, Sarah is an organizer with the New York City Democratic Socialists of America. She lives in Brooklyn.
