Lisa Phillips Turner is the home improvement columnist for the Clay County Progress in Hayesville, North Carolina.
Lisa started her own home inspection company in 2008. Less than 1.6% of all licensed home inspectors are female. Lisa hit it off with both realtors and homeowners. It didn't hurt that Lisa was also a licensed general contractor with home building experience. She is able to sort out the details for home buyers, builders, and sellers so that they do not overspend.
