He also has written fiction and poetry, and many of these stories have appeared in literary publications and the national poetry anthology Dawn of Silence. As a journalist he enjoys enterprise reporting and coaching other writers, and has worked in several editing positions. As the former outdoors editor of a daily newspaper, he loves exploring the great outdoors and finding new adventures to write about.
