This is the second book, in the series of books on guidance from Quran and Sunnah. In this book series, I try to discuss some of the most common topics of discussions that I've come across during my tenure, giving lectures and seminars, and different questions and concerns raised by various brothers and sisters. The book sheds light on How we can change our lives and how we can become better practicing Muslims. It discusses how we are actually, specifically and specially chosen by Allah SWT to be Muslims. And how we have received the gift of being the Ummah of the Prophet SAW, instead of billions of other people on the planet.The book discusses how Shaitaan stops us and prevents us from fulfilling our duties to Allah SWT, how Shaitaan stops from reciting Quran and becoming close in our relationship of Allah SWT, and how all the things in our live, whether they be halal or haram, whether they be permitted or not permitted, many of the times they tend to end up as distractions for us from fulfilling our duties to Allah SWT, and how we have ended up replacing Allah SWT from our lives with all the temporary illusions of this world.The book discusses the rewards of being patient, it talks about the importance of salah and how we should not be lazy in fulfilling our prayers. It gives guidelines on how to get a pure Nafs and how we should not be judgmental of the others and ourselves in any way. And rather be positive of people around us.Books makes a point that only thing that prevents our duas from getting accepted is we, ourselves and that the acceptance of dua depends upon how much you want your dua to be answered. The book sheds light of the mercy of Allah SWT by pointing out the rewards that Allah SWT bestows on the very last Person to enter Jannah, the person who would be from the people of hell fire.The book shares the Tafseer of Surah Al-Asr, and the linguistic miracle of Surah Yusuf. It reminds us of the importance of the month of Muharram, and why it is called the month of Allah SWT. At the same time, makes us understand what steps we should take to prevent our fasts from being wasted.Book shares a lot of stories that are directed towards strengthening our Iman, like when the Prophet SAW grappled with a wrestler, the story of Ibn Sirin and his honesty, story of an old man and his wisdom, story of a father and his son, the story of a young man who was saved by Allah SWT, when he was forced in to committing a sin.Lastly, just like the previous book in the series, this book also covers topics on social issues such as, how to find the right spouse, what the right manners of a Walimah are and a wedding are, it tells parents how to build a better and stronger relationship with their children, and it tells the husbands how special their wives are, and the book helps them understand the high status of motherhood and pregnancy in Islam.
