Francisco Moreno-Fernández es doctor en lingüística hispánica por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. En la actualidad, es catedrático Humboldt en la Universidad de Heidelberg y catedrático de lengua española en la Universidad de Alcalá. Ha sido director de varios centros del Instituto Cervantes. Sus investigaciones se centran en sociolingüística, dialectología y lingüística aplicada.
Inmaculada Penadés-Martínez es doctora en filología hispánica por la Universidad de Valencia. Actualmente, es catedrática honorífica de lingüística general en la Universidad de Alcalá. Sus investigaciones se centran en gramática, lexicología, fraseología y lingüística aplicada.
Clara Ureña-Tormo es graduada en estudios ingleses por la Universidad de Valencia y máster en formación de profesores de español por la Universidad de Alcalá y doctora por la misma Universidad dentro del programa en Estudios lingüísticos, literarios y teatrales. Es especialista en lingüística cognitiva, lingüística contrastiva y fraseología.
