Johnny Pesky is a former Major League Baseball player and manager for the Boston Red Sox. He is also a former color commentator for the Red Sox, and his many decades of affiliation with the team have lead the team to honor him by retiring his number and naming a pole in Fenway Park "The Pesky Pole." He lives in Boston.
