Being addicted to crack-cocaine for most of his adult life, Dwight sought to end his life in prison by suicide. That was the night God turned his life around. God spoke to Dwight, telling him that he would be prepared to minister to people who were also suffering from drug addiction like himself. Dwight left prison to begin his journey in Christ. Dwight is now married to Ronnette Gregg Jonas. They have five children: three boys: DeAndre, Dewight, and DeAllen, and two girls: Deandrienne, and DeAlexandra. Dwight, and his wife attend "Praise Assembly Church," of Christlife Bible Church. They are also enrolled in Christ Life Bible Institute and Seminary. Dwight is joyfully overwhelmed by God's mercy, grace, and forgiveness, and looks forward to graduating from the Seminary to begin his ministry.
