Author Biography
Willow was born in Sussex in the United Kingdom. Having studied psychology but not trained to be a psychologist or a psychotherapist why should you be reading this book? What does it have to offer and what is the material based on if not the conventional practices we are all used to hearing about? This book has come about through a great deal of training and research over a period of about twenty years. It is the product of a non conventional path that was chosen as a result of following the guidance of the heart. An early fascination with expansion as a result of adventure began a quest for a particular type of knowledge. Not only for personal experience but also for the facilitation of others to work through the blocks and feelings that hinder an attempt at discovering something new and something dear. The chance to take this further came about with the choice to travel abroad at the age of twenty. A passion for outdoor sports had always provided an environment of adventure and further learning so training to become an instructor continued the passion for teaching. Helping others take the first steps into new learning and adventure coupled with the discipline of board riding in big seas meant a new vessel had emerged for spiritual understanding and the harnessing of energy and balance. From here a deeper journey into the heart was calling and the following year a pilgrimage began. A seven year journey to every continent resulted in extensive work with a series of meditation teachers. Along the way specific techniques were personally practised and taught to process difficult feelings and thought patterns that often limit progress and the pursuit of truth. A personal discipline began to reveal that the natural feelings of contentment that we all have hidden within us are the route to what is authentic and true. This held the key to sharing the ability we all have to not only love ourselves but to reveal the adventure awaiting discovery within us all. This book is a result of that journey and a continuing enquiry to this day into a passion for teaching and helping others find their way back to the calling inside. It is a commitment to love and truth. It is a gift to help realise the courage to do or become anything that is truly desired. The book is intended to talk to the heart as well as the intellect.
