Ferntree Hollow is a valley at war. For ages, the four nations of the area carved out kingdoms and colonies, each according to their own needs and species. These nations have had an uneasy and resentful peace for many years, especially after the near annihilation of the Darkwing Republic, which drove its members into hiding and isolation. The other three nations, the Knifefin Kingdom, the Dragonscale Empire, and the Ironfur Nation, continued to grow in the shadow of the human buildings nearby. But all of that came to an end, when recently the Dragonscale Empire developed machines of war and invaded its neighbors. The capital city of Braeton Burrow in the Ironfur Nation is under siege, as well as the city of Silver Springs in the Knifefin Kingdom. Here is where your quest begins in Ferntree Hollow, as your characters meet in the small town of Greenshire. How will you join this war? Which faction will you aid, and how will this conflict end?
